New and improved
Before Get Crafy, I'd never had a blog and now I'm addicted. In that spirit, I am devoting this space to getting crafty and less to my day-to-day whining. I think having a specifically crafty journal will inspire me to be more so. Ergo, I found a new home for the feet. And now that I have the hang of this blog thing, I'm synching up the lo-fi Get Crafty blog with this sleeker, but still user-friendly, Blogger site.I'm still pretty much a beginning knitter - haven't branched out much past rectangular/square projects - but that's to change very soon. I am buried under a mountain of yarn attempting to make everyone scarves, hats, mittens, etc. for Christmas. So far I've half-finished two scarves: one for my dad and one for my sister. Mom is next, followed by the nephews.
They clearly need clothes.
I'm excited and scared. Hold me.
